SUMMARY:
Our client - a leading manufacturing business -is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join its team in Pietermaritzburg. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with operations, driving profitability, and providing meaningful financial insights that support business performance.
The successful candidate will play a key role in cost management, budgeting, financial analysis, and performance reporting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

POSITION INFO:

Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Cost & Management Accounting, or a related field.
Proven experience in a Management Accounting, Cost Accounting, Commercial Finance, or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong experience with:
- Product costing and cost accounting
- Material cost analysis
- Variance analysis
- Margin and profitability analysis
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial reporting and performance analysis
- Cost optimisation initiatives
SAP experience is essential and non-negotiable.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and influence business decisions through financial insight.

Key Requirements:
