SUMMARY:
Mid-level Accountant to join a finance team within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
You will play a key role in supporting finance operations, including accounting processes, reporting, reconciliations, and cost accounting within a manufacturing setting.

POSITION INFO:

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of accounting principles and finance operations
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
Strong Excel skills (Microsoft Office proficient)
SAP experience advantageous
Experience in cost accounting (materials, labour, and overhead) within a manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong organisational and time management ability

Your Key Focus Areas

Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare financial statements and management reports
Assist with cost accounting and production cost tracking
Support budgeting and financial analysis activities
Maintain accurate financial records and system data
Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements
Ensure accurate processing and reporting of financial transactions
Support finance operations within a manufacturing environment
Maintain compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Contribute to financial accuracy, efficiency, and reporting integrity
