Duties & Responsibilities

Key roles and responsibilities:

Provide support to the site Cost Accountant in performing the following functions:

Prepare and analyse daily diesel consumption.
Compile, analyse and submit monthly production and stock reports.
Prepare cost variance reports and identify any areas of concern or excessive expenditure.
Monitor operational costs on site, including plant costs, machinery usage and hours and mining activity costs.

Desired Experience & Qualification

BCom Management Accounting Degree from NWU
Highly adaptable and resilient
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Valid South African driver’s license
Computer literate and proficient in MS Excel
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, remote site environment
