Duties & Responsibilities
Key roles and responsibilities:
Provide support to the site Cost Accountant in performing the following functions:
- Prepare and analyse daily diesel consumption.
- Compile, analyse and submit monthly production and stock reports.
- Prepare cost variance reports and identify any areas of concern or excessive expenditure.
- Monitor operational costs on site, including plant costs, machinery usage and hours and mining activity costs.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- BCom Management Accounting Degree from NWU
- Highly adaptable and resilient
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid South African driver’s license
- Computer literate and proficient in MS Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, remote site environment
