JOB DESCRIPTION:
The manager: DHET Grants Management role will report to Senior Manager: DHET Grants Management and will primarily ensure the preparation, execution and reporting earmarked grants. The position is responsible for recording allocations, expenditure and reporting of spending on grants.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Manages the DHET grants management office
- Stakeholder Management and Engagement
- Internal and External Audit
- Human Resources Management
- Financial Management of Grants
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - NQF 7 Level Qualification (e.g. Bachelors Degree / B Tech / Advanced Diploma) with majors in Finance, Management Accounting or Financial Accounting
- Eight (8) years’ experience in Finance or Project Finance Management.
- Of the eight (8) years, three (3) years’ experience of that should be at a Manager / Supervisory level.
ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGES: - Member of a Professional Body
- Experience within the Higher Education will be an advantage
