Manager - Financial Control & Reporting

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Manager : Financial Control & Reporting for a permanent position based in East London, Eastern Cape

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• Qualified CA with in-depth knowledge of PFMA and related legislation
• 8 years related experience of which at least 3 must be at management level
• Practical knowledge and understanding of GAAP, IFRS and IAS
• Thorough practical knowledge of Management Accounting principles and calculations
• Extensive knowledge of Income Tax Act, VAT Act, Treasury Regulations, Companies Act, Insolvency Act, NCA, FICA, King report and all other relevant legislation
• Basic knowledge of Basel II / III
• Advanced MS Office skills
• Valid driver’s license

The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Reporting to the CFO
• Produce group financial statements
• Management of the bank accounts as well as salaries and property accounts
• Financial control and reporting
• Account management
• General financial support to the department
• People management

Salary:  Negotiable
