POSITION INFO:
Our client, a small/medium size thriving multidimensional company in the petroleum and retail sector, located in the Overberg area, is looking for a self-motivated and results-driven manager to manage their organisation’s day-to-day operations in all its divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall management of all staff members, including facilitating training and development, maintaining order and discipline and ensuring optimal productivity
- Ensure customer service excellence and deal with customer complaints and queries
- Effective daily cash management of all entities including daily cash ups and ensuring that all cashiers have enough change
- Accurate stock management by ensuring on a daily basis that shelves are fully stocked, that stock is ordered timeously and accurately received and facilitation of daily, weekly and three monthly stock takes and stock shortages are immediately reported
- Effective operational management of the site, including timeous opening and closing, ensuring that all equipment is switched on and switched off, conducting accurate pump and dip readings, ensuring that the property is maintained and clean
- Accurate written reports [on excel] of stock and fuel reconciliations
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 national certificate [ a Degree or Diploma would be an advantage]
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the petroleum-, hospitality- and/or FMCG industry
- Must be computer literate [Office suite], Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Proficient in Afrikaans and English
- Valid Driver’s license and own vehicle
- Be willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
