JOB SUMMARY:
Our client in the Public Sector has an opportunity available for a Manager: Project Accounting, to be based in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg. This will be a contract position for 7 months.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Matric + relevant degree or equivalent
5 years working experience of which 3 must be supervisory experience in a financial management role including project accounting
Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, legislation and regulations governing SETA finance
Extensive Knowledge of Acts, legislation and regulations relevant to finance
Extensive knowledge of principles of Budgeting
Extensive knowledge of principle relating to SETA project management
Extensive knowledge of GRAP
Extensive knowledge of legislations related to SETA

KPAs:

Accurately and complete recorded and reconciled discretionary grants
Monthly ageing analysis
Monthly contract status report
Compilation of statutory reports
Internal Controls and Risk Management
Achievement and management of the Unit’s work plans
Provide sufficient staff and adequate staffing for the Unit
