Manager - Sales and Marketing

SUMMARY:
This is the ideal position for an experiences Sales Executive in the specialized abrasion and wear-resistant rubber, polyurethane, steel and ceramic based lining components required for mining and mineral processing, screening, grinding and material handling.  Applicants must have a degree or diploma in metallurgy or mechanical engineering, with at least 10 years’ experience in the same or similar field.  Customer Service centric and Strong Business development skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Product Sales and Booking Orders for large scale mining consumables
• Product Margins / New Application Development
• Sales, Marketing & Business Development
• Condition Monitoring
• Weekly / Monthly Reporting
• Pricing Strategy
• Channel Sales
• International Business
• Internal interface with Operations and Finance
• Reporting to the Business Unit Head
• Managing 7 Sales Engineers

• A tertiary education in Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering
• A MBA would be ideal
• At least 15 years in Sales with 10 years in a similar role
• Must have a Sales, Marketing and Product selling background
• Strategic selling skills
• Good command of English written and verbal
• Must be Analytical and Service orientated
• Experience in this industry would be an advantage
• Must have excellent Team Management ability
