We are seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager, this Midrand-based role (Cross boarder travel required) .

Roles and Responsibilities
We are a Leader in innovative engineering solutions across Africa, specialising in construction, consulting, and IPP services. We're looking for a commercially savvy Sales & Marketing Manager to spearhead sales growth and support strategic marketing initiatives across the African region.

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead internal and external sales teams in both South Africa and the DRC, while driving business development and market entry in key territories including Tanzania, Zambia, Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and beyond. You’ll also support targeted marketing activities and help ensure the company’s brand and offering are positioned for growth.

This is a sales-driven leadership role with strong marketing oversight — ideal for someone who thrives in client-facing environments, has a technical understanding of engineering or industrial solutions, and can translate market insights into actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage regional sales teams and oversee client acquisition and retention

Drive expansion into new African markets with tailored go-to-market strategies

Maintain and grow key client and OEM relationships across multiple territories

Support the development of marketing campaigns and manage product positioning

Monitor performance metrics, prepare reports, and adjust strategy for growth

Requirements:

10+ years in technical or industrial sales, preferably in engineering or mining sectors

Degree/Diploma in Sales & Marketing (Electrical Engineering an advantage)

Experience in managing teams, developing strategy, and closing high-value deals

Strong communication, planning, and analytical skills

Willingness and ability to travel across African markets

English fluency (French a bonus)

Salary: R85,000 – R120,000 basic + benefits
