Drive profitable sales growth through national retail and professional account management. Build and implement annual commercial business plans tailored for each retailer and brand. Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing national sales team. Manage strategic retail partnerships with leading national retailers and professional accounts. Negotiate promotions, product listings, and joint business plans to maximize market impact. Develop and execute annual marketing calendars and product launch strategies. Localise international brand initiatives to resonate within the South African market. Analyse sales, sell-in, and sell-out data to enhance forecasting and inventory planning. Drive merchandising standards, retail execution, and in-store brand presence. Monitor commercial performance through detailed reporting, analysis, and strategic recommendations. Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to optimise inventory levels and commercial outcomes. Lead performance management, succession planning, and ongoing team development. Requirements: Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and marketing within the FMCG or Health & Beauty sectors. Strong leadership, strategic planning, and negotiation skills. Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship management abilities. Proven track record of developing and executing effective commercial strategies. Ability to lead high-performing teams and manage key stakeholder relationships. Nice to Have: Experience with brand management and retail merchandising.
