Managing Director - Insurance and Warranties

SUMMARY:
A modern day leader with a Bachelors or MBA degree, 15 years’ financial services/insurance industry experience and minimum 5 years’ experience in leading cross functional and diverse teams, required to join this Financial Services company in a Managing Director’s capacity.

POSITION INFO:

A modern day leader with a Bachelors or MBA degree, 15 years’ financial services/insurance industry experience and minimum 5 years’ experience in leading cross functional and diverse teams, required to join this Financial Services company in a Managing Director’s capacity.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelors or MBA Degree required
• Minimum 15 years’ financial services / insurance industry experience essential
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in leading cross functional and diverse teams essential
• Experience in partner and stakeholder management required

Responsibilities:

• Develop long term vision and formulate strategies for the Asset Protection Product Division and general Financial Services business
• Transform the business into the leading provider of asset protection products and lead the broader financial services
• Manage the day to day operations and interact with the Board on a quarterly basis
• Leading the following initiatives:  Warranties, Short Term Insurance, Dealer Services and partnership opportunities, i.e. life insurance, will, estate planning, travel insurance and retail facing lending platforms
• Annual business plan targets – develop and ensure business exceeds such
• Succession planning
• Setting and delivering across financial budget
• Compliance management
• Stakeholder relationship and communication management
• Strategic advice
• Manage resources
• Business plans
• New business acquisition opportunities
• New initiatives to drive revenue, lower operating costs and maintain quality, competitive products and deliver excellent customer services
• Monitor annual budget and meet targets
• Marketing strategies – manage, report and implement
• Maintain quality of products, service and customer support
• Annual reports and board presentations
• SWOT analysis
• Annual strategic and tactical business plans
• Planning object setting, contribution charters and performance metrics for Senior Management team
• Preparing board and strategy reports
