JOB SUMMARY:
A large automotive company is looking a Marine Sales Executive to join their team!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Marine Sales Executive

Main Purpose of the Role:

Achieve the set-out strategy of your division whilst taking responsibility and accountability for your performance. Achieving Sales and all related logistics regarding the division.

Reports to: Motorcycle & Marine Sales Manager

Internal Team Interaction: (Information, support, advice) Across organisation:

exchange of information, support, advice, persuasion, negotiation.

External Team Interaction: Dealers and suppliers (foreign and local), service providers, media, industry players, government bodies, end-users/customers: exchange of information, advice, persuasion and negotiation.

1. Sales

Make 5 – 10 sales calls per day or as per agreed Minimal acceptable standard.

Convert 20% of calls into appointments or as per agreed MAS.

Convert 10 of appointments into deals.

Achieve the required 1st GP % as per agreed MAS.

Deliver a world class customer experience upon delivery.

2. Business Planning

Produce weekly pipelines for planning purposes

Participate in stock takes.

Identify opportunities on old stock.

3. Marketing

Build positive customer relationships

Promote product lines through regular activations

Ensure that customer data is up to date and relevant.

4. Administrative

Ensure accuracy on deal files – all documents present including costing sheets

Deal files to be signed by Motorcycle & Marine Sales Manager followed by Dealer Principal.

5. Events

Undertake related tasks as required, including but not limited to:

Sales representative at strategic events

Represent brand on time and professionally

6. Showroom

Ensure the showroom is in a presentable state that promotes the quality of our product offering

Vehicles are clean and ready-to-go

Customers are attended to in a respectable timing of arrival

7. Time keeping

The Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA) stipulates that employers must record the working hours of all employees in an attendance register, sometimes referred to as a timesheet or time logbook.

This is done at Company by means of facial recognition clock-in and clock-out wireless devices
