SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro)chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a Maritime Project Engineer to join their team
in the Netherlands.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Maritime Project Engineer
Location: Netherlands
Salary: To be discussed in the Interview
Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Marine/Civil Engineering or related field.
Experience: 1-10 years in maritime or civil engineering projects.
Language Skills: Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).
Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.

Beneficial requirements:

Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit), and knowledge of safety standards.

Project Management Skills: Experience managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.

Duties and responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee the execution of maritime engineering projects, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
Design and Engineering: Contribute technical expertise in the design and development of maritime systems and structures.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to maritime safety standards and regulations throughout project phases.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the main contact between internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.
