Market Access Manager – Healthcare SA and SADC

Position Overview:

A leading world-renowned Medical Diagnostics company that specializes in Medical Diagnostic and IVD Devices has a new position available for a Market Access Manager – SA and SADC.

The main purpose of this position will be to drive the development of Health Ecosystems by developing and implementing market and patient access strategies with key internal and external stakeholders to drive optimal access to strategic healthcare solutions in the public and private sectors in the SADC Region and South African market of MCZA. To support the mid to long-term Healthcare Transformation strategy by supporting the development and implementation of stakeholder engagements, partnerships and other health systems strengthening projects.

Key Focus Areas:

Understanding and Development of Healthcare Ecosystems, with an emphasis on diagnostics across the focus markets within the SA and SADC territory.
Market Access Management
Offer Support for the broader Healthcare Transformation Projects
Financial Management
SHE compliance and training

Essential Experience, Qualifications and Skills Required:

Completed NQF 7/8 qualification in a relevant Clinical or Science field
A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in Government Affairs or Market/Patient Access
Extensive experience within in the Pharma/Diagnostics industry
Management and Strategy definition experience is essential
Healthcare Laws and Regulations knowledge required
Must possess knowledge of Policy and Regulatory Landscapes in LMIC/Africa
