SUMMARY:

Are you a creative, people-focused marketing individual who enjoys building relationships, creating engaging content and making a difference in the lives of others?

Our client is looking for a Marketing & Communications Officer to take ownership of the organisation's marketing and communication activities, strengthen its public image and help drive occupancy of its residential units.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can combine marketing expertise, excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in working with people.

You will play an important role in promoting the company, keeping residents informed and engaged, building positive media relationships and ensuring that the organisation's brand remains visible and relevant.

POSITION INFO:
Key Performance Areas Marketing Develop and implement marketing strategies to support the occupancy of available units. Identify target markets and tailor marketing content to their needs. Build and maintain the company's brand and increase brand awareness. Develop and manage the marketing budget. Monitor and evaluate marketing initiatives. Media Relations Build and maintain positive relationships with media and external stakeholders. Promote and maintain a positive public image of the company. Coordinate publicity and external communication. Internal Communication Keep residents informed about activities, services and developments. Encourage resident participation in activities that promote their wellbeing. Develop clear, engaging and relevant internal communications Digital & Social Media Manage social media and digital communication platforms. Create engaging written and visual content. Monitor engagement and client feedback. Utilise digital communication tools effectively. Requirements Degree or relevant qualification in Marketing, Social Sciences or a related field. 3-4 years' experience in marketing or a similar role. Excellent social media and content-writing skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Afrikaans. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Understanding of elderly care and relevant legislation, including the Older Persons Act, OHS Act and POPIA. Valid driver's license. Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
