JOB SUMMARY:
Our client is a leading global solutions and services provider for photovoltaics and energy storage. Since
1982 the family-owned and operated company group offers complete solutions for power production and storage from solar energy. They provided their clients with the entire spectrum, from planning,
designing, distribution and services up to the turnkey supply of photovoltaic installations in certain
markets.

The company’s subsidiary in Cape Town has been operating in South Africa since 2017. The scope of the
local business activities are being an integrated solar systems and services provider by distributing PV system and storage solutions and components to an installer network in Southern Africa with a high service level.

For supporting their growing business, they are looking for a Marketing & Content Creator reporting to their Business Development Manager in Cape Town.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities

Customer relation data & newsletter management in the corresponding mail software
Online shop administration in front- and back-end plus interfacing with the ERP software in cooperation with the Product Manager
Customer data administration in the company’s ERP software
Social media postings, ads and back-end administration
Graphic design for advertising and content creation
SEO optimization, Google ads and website content administration in cooperation with HQ
Content management of company presentation and other marketing tools
Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns
Public relation work and preparation of press releases
Support of Office Manager with tasks in the ERP system
Administrative tasks in the internal sales office
Organising events and product exhibitions

Qualifications

Matric
Relevant Tertiary Education is an advantage
Knowledge with image manipulation software required e.g. Photoshop, Gimp
Experience in content creation and campaign management needed e.g. Mailchimp
CMS experience i.e. Typo 3, WordPress
3 – 5 years relevant IT & Marketing experience is an advantage
Excellent English skills
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, customer facing environment
Ability to organize, prioritize and effectively multi-task daily and meet deadlines
Assertive, confident and clear communicator – via e-mail, phone and face-to-face
