Purpose of the job:
Responsible to develop and execute the commercial marketing and business development strategy & delivering profitability, sales growth and market share expansion.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor or Masters Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Biology or Plant Sciences.
Additional Business, Marketing or MBA qualification is an advantage.
10+ years in crop protection or agricultural inputs.
Proven success in sales, marketing, and business development.
Experienced in managing distributors.
Deep knowledge of South African agriculture.
Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience: Hit sales and profit targets. Manage distributor relationships. Find new market opportunities. Negotiate pricing and agreements. Create budgets and plans. Provide accurate sales forecasts. Track performance against budget. Run local marketing campaigns. Organize product launches and events. Analyze competitors and market trends. [1] Give technical product presentations. Help customers position products. Handle technical queries and claims.
