Marketing Coordinator (Global Business Unit)

SUMMARY:
Our client, a global business with operations spanning Africa, APAC, and international markets, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support and coordinate marketing and communication initiatives across the business. This role plays a key part in driving global visibility, digital engagement, brand positioning, and external communication — with a strong focus on LinkedIn strategy, content coordination, and event visibility.

Reporting to the Managing Director of the Business Unit with a matrix line to the CMO, you'll work closely with Business Development teams, technical experts, Business Units, and external partners across a genuinely international footprint. This role suits someone who thrives on balancing structured communication planning with fast-paced, hands-on execution.

POSITION INFO:
Key Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate and execute marketing and communication initiatives aligned with global business objectives and positioning Coordinate LinkedIn content planning, publication calendars, and community management - comments, mentions, and engagement Monitor engagement metrics and support initiatives to grow audience, interaction, and visibility Support the creation of LinkedIn posts, interviews, articles, event summaries, and communication campaigns Coordinate with Business Development and technical teams to develop content that reinforces market positioning and expertise Support the development of templates, marketing materials, digital assets, and branded resources using Canva or similar platforms Coordinate communication and visibility activities for Africa and APAC events, including event calendars and tracking Ensure marketing materials, promotional assets, booths, and merchandising align with corporate branding standards Support event lead visibility and follow-up activities through HubSpot and internal processes Support media relationships, PR opportunities, interviews, and external visibility initiatives for the Africa business unit Monitor and track PR activities and communication opportunities, with budget awareness Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, or related field 5+ years' experience in marketing, corporate communications, branding, or related roles Proven experience supporting LinkedIn corporate communication strategies and digital engagement initiatives Strong writing, editing, and content creation skills in English Experience coordinating marketing campaigns, external communications, and event visibility initiatives Strong understanding of branding, visual consistency, and digital communication strategies Experience working in international and multicultural business environments Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, social media platforms, and marketing analytics tools Advantageous Familiarity with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms Key Attributes Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder collaboration skills Excellent organisational and project management capabilities High attention to detail and strong brand awareness Ability to balance structured planning with operational execution Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset Resilience and autonomy under changing business demands Please apply directly, by clicking on the apply button or visit If you have not had any response in one week, please consider your application unsuccessful.
