An exciting opportunity is now open for a Marketing manager with international cruise line marketing experience.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English required with good oral and written communication skills. Working knowledge of other language is considered a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent.
  • 8+ years’ experience in marketing department, preferably within an international company; and minimum 5 years managerial experience
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation tools, with knowledge of HTML,
  • Number-driven person, ability to work in a deadline driven environment, balancing multiple priorities;
  • Excellent communication, organization, time management and analytical/problem solving skills.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Identify, develop, and evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and mark-up factors.
  • Evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections.
  • Direct the recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of marketing staff and oversee their daily activities.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors to manage product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies.
  • Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analysing business developments and monitoring market trends.
  • Select products and accessories to be displayed at trade shows or events.
  • Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, and production managers, to market products and services.
  • Initiate market research studies and analyse their findings.
  • Conduct economic and commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products and services.
  • Consult with product development personnel on product specifications such as design, colour, and packaging.
  • Working in partnership with the creative team, develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to meet objectives for all advertising and public-­facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets.
  • Conceptualize and execute on multi-channel campaigns across the prospect and customer lifecycle, ensuring the alignment of communications and messaging across all channels.
  • Manage content and updates for customer and internal touch points, establishing budget guidelines, participating in events, documenting business processes, and providing additional sales support.
  • Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more qualified leads.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
  • Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
  • Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
  • Partner with email, performance marketing and web teams to design, test and evolve lead nurturing tactics.

 The incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Managing regular advertising campaigns (education and promotion),
  • Manage current and new brand building activities,
  • Develop and manage sectors, specific marketing projects including executing the approved marketing strategy.
  • Champion and manage all the campaign’s marketing events including all stakeholders associated with this performance area.
