Marketing Manager

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Accountability Objectives include: To develop the local strategic marketing plan aligned to emerging markets and global market objectives. To manage the production and distribution of all marketing and sales support material as well as the maintenance of all digital media (e-business solutions, web sites etc)

Duties :

• Formulate annual marketing plan and cost budget based on requirements of the company strategic direction
• Plan and co-ordinate the preparation and supply of all marketing and sales support material
• Develop, implement and evaluate strategic initiatives that focus on meeting ongoing / changing business needs
• Day to day management of appointed service contractor / agency / print media relationships
• Oversee all brand communicationsÂ
• Contribute to the development of strategic plans

Qualifications:

• Degree or similar qualification
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a marketing environment at management level

Skills and Capabilities:

• Strong creative abilities coupled with a strategic and analytical approach
• Strong digital media experience and knowledge of e-commerce
• High level of competency in MS Office and a strong understanding of IT systems and applications
• Flexible work schedule and a willingness to travel (national and international) as and when required
• Own transport
