JOB SUMMARY:
Looking to gain Africa experience that could set you apart from your colleagues? My giant market leading client is currently looking for a Marketing Manager coming either from the Automotive or Advertising industry. 70% of this position focuses on advertising.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications required:

Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar fields.
Post Graduate Diplomas or Degrees are advantageous

Skills and experience required:

6 - 8 years + experience in advertising
Africa marketing experience is beneficial for this position.
Ability to function under pressure and work in a fast paced environment
Willingness to travel into East African countries when necessary
Strong communication skills
Analytical
Creative and innovative
Ability to make decisions on a senior level

Job description:

70% of this position focuses on advertising
Overseeing the design and content of an advertising campaign to ensure it meets the needs of the target audience.
Establishes marketing goals to ensure market share and profitability of products and/or services.
Plans and oversees the dealership's advertising and promotional activities including print, electronic and direct mail media.
Develops and executes monthly and annual marketing budgets.
Develops and executes marketing plans and programs, both short and long-range, to ensure the profit growth and expansion of dealership products and/or services.
Creates and prepares all print advertising, radio and TV commercials, billboards, direct mail pieces, in-store point-of-purchase merchandising aids, interior and exterior signs, off-site displays, news releases and stories.
Works with the dealer and general sales manager to develop upcoming ad campaigns.
Communicates marketing efforts to all dealership employees.
Achieves satisfactory profit/loss ratio and share of market performance and more…
