Our client, a reputable national firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors, seeks an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

Daily Marketing Activities

• Develops and maintains a strong understanding of the competitive landscape to guide staff, managers, and directors
• Ensures the firm retains its competitive edge and continues to capture market share by understanding the perspectives of the bank business units and their view of the competition
• Understand and market the firm’s various service lines and increase brand awareness nationally
• Design, order and distribute marketing materials and literature
• Responsible for internal campaigns
• Assist with the collation of information for promotional literature
• Writing articles and promotional material for the company
• Maintenance of social media sites (website, Twitter and Facebook)
• Updating and maintaining the marketing department documentation and databases
• Managing events and exhibitions
• Booking venues as required
• Facilitation and coordination of the corporate social responsibility initiatives of the firm
• Development and circulation of internal newsletter and other communication

• Managing Press events and press kits
• Monitoring media coverage
• Researching and evaluating new media and magazines
• Collating and analysing media coverage
• Monitoring and reporting of competitor activities regarding media use and events

• Undertake market research as directed by the CEO. Collate data and present findings back to the CEO
• Undertake customer surveys; collate data and present findings back to the CEO
• Competitor profiling

• Measure the effectiveness of marketing activities
• Identify and suggest cost-effective marketing activities for the brand and service lines

• Provide general support to all Managers and Directors
• Development of the annual Marketing Strategy and Operational Plan

• 3 years experience in a marketing environment industry
• Tertiary Qualifications in Marketing
• Grade 12
• Excellent attention to detail
