Marketing Manager - Shipyard & Shipping – Durban - Market Related Salary

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business; raising and maintaining the Company’s profile within the local and international industry, and promoting work to all other existing regions of the Company

Proven marketing track record in an engineering-related field – shipyard experience and a good understanding of the shipping industry will be a distinct advantage
A relevant qualification in marketing and/or engineering will be an advantage
Highly motivated, positive, ambitious, and driven to succeed Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Assertive and persuasive communicator with a strong grasp of business challenges
A high level of critical reasoning is required with the ability to understand technical & business reports and draw accurate and logical conclusions
Strategic thinking with strong negotiation skills
Willing to travel on a regular basis - both local & international Advanced negotiating and influencing skills
Shipyard experience and/or a good understanding of the shipping industry will be an advantage
