POSITION INFO:
This is a pivotal, high-visibility, customer-facing leadership role for a professional who combines warm hospitality presence with uncompromising standards, accuracy and commercial judgement.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
This role leads an integrated portfolio spanning:
- Membership growth, onboarding, and retention,
- Brand, marketing and member communications,
- Premium events and functions, delivered with precision and professionalism

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own the full membership lifecycle: enquiries, presentations, applications, onboarding/orientation, renewals and retention initiatives.
- Lead the Club’s marketing and communications calendar, ensuring every message is accurate, polished and brand aligned.
- Protect and elevate the Club’s premium positioning across digital channels (website/content/social media) and campaigns.
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of corporate, private and member events: proposals, confirmations, function sheets, interdepartmental briefings, execution and post-event review.
- Drive service recovery and relationship management with members and clients, resolving issues promptly, calmly and professionally.
- Implement practical SOPs/checklists and reporting discipline to ensure consistency, accountability and world-class execution.
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A warm, polished, member-facing presence with genuine hospitality instincts.
- Exceptional attention to detail and high personal standards (accuracy is non-negotiable).
- Strong written communication and stakeholder-management capability.
- Proven experience in a premium environment (private club, luxury hospitality/venue, membership organisation or high-touch events).
- Commercial acumen, calm decision-making under pressure, and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments
WORKING HOURS & CONDITIONS:
This is a senior role and requires flexibility in support of member commitments and event delivery. The Club’s current conditions for this portfolio include:
- Normal working hours: 08h00–17h00, Monday to Friday (inclusive)
- Reasonable additional hours/overtime may be required as directed by management, dependent on operational demand.
- Probation: three (3) months with formal monthly performance assessments.
- Annual leave: 15 working days per annum (accrued at 1.25 days per month), subject to prior written approval.
- Notice: 4 weeks’ written notice during the first six months of employment; thereafter 8 weeks’ written notice.
- Uniform: supplied by the Club and compulsory while on duty (terms apply).
- Confidentiality and professional standards apply in a member-centric environment.
Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete practical exercises (writing/editing, service recovery scenario, and event planning case study).
