SUMMARY:
Our client, a pan-African institution, has an opportunity available for a Marketing and Communications Officer in the Rivonia area.

POSITION INFO:
Education and Experience Requirements:

Relevant qualification in marketing, digital communications, media, public relations, or a related field; or comparable experience
Proven experience (5+ years) of delivering successful integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution
A desire to learn and develop Marketing & Communication skills and techniques
Must be able to work with people at all levels -senior management
Project management experience
Built environment sector experience
Have been exposed to working with government
Copywriting and editing skills
Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics etc)
An understanding of Wordpress and SEO tactics
Constant Contact/email marketing
CRM knowledge
Native or bilingual proficiency in both spoken and written English, with the ability to tailor content to different audiences

KPAs:

Strategy planning, execution and reporting on marketing/communications
Policies and guidelines on marketing/communications
Develop and implement media strategies
Prepare/manage materials: website, social media, brochures, videos, branding, speeches, etc.
Responsible for newsletters, publications (annual reports, annual magazine, reports, etc), events (prepare and manage)
