Marketing and Communications Officer

SUMMARY:
Our client, a pan-African institution, has an opportunity available for a Marketing and Communications Officer in the Rivonia area.

POSITION INFO:
Education and Experience Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in marketing, digital communications, media, public relations, or a related field; or comparable experience
• Proven experience (5+ years) of delivering successful integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution
• A desire to learn and develop Marketing & Communication skills and techniques
• Must be able to work with people at all levels -senior management
• Project management experience
• Built environment sector experience
• Have been exposed to working with government
• Copywriting and editing skills
• Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics etc)
• An understanding of Wordpress and SEO tactics
• Constant Contact/email marketing
• CRM knowledge
• Native or bilingual proficiency in both spoken and written English, with the ability to tailor content to different audiences

• Strategy planning, execution and reporting on marketing/communications
• Policies and guidelines on marketing/communications
• Develop and implement media strategies
• Prepare/manage materials: website, social media, brochures, videos, branding, speeches, etc.
• Responsible for newsletters, publications (annual reports, annual magazine, reports, etc), events (prepare and manage)
