SUMMARY:
o SAP o Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement o Minimum of 3-5 yearsÃ¢Â€Â™ experience in an Inventory Management o Technical Knowledge Exposure - working with Engineering Spares o Exposure to Vendor/Material/Service Masters and coding o Knowledge of UNSPSC Standard

POSITION INFO:

Inventory Management - Master Data Management within Mo Incumbent needs to ensure that all Urgent market request are handled within 3 working days
o All Non Urgent request are handled and feedback given within 7 working days as per the Client Service Level Agreement
o All Bulk request list are to be discussed with end user or Accenture Contracts team on an agreed turnaround time.
o All request are received via e-mail which can contain new non stock materials/services, Amendments or material extensions.
o The following vetting needs to be performed before a request is approved
Check for duplicates in SAP
Ensure Noun and Modifiers are in correct order
Ensure all item or service info from the quotes are added to the short and long descriptions
Use Glencore technical abbreviation dictionary when abbreviating words in the short descriptions
Ensure Material Group and Product Hierarchy is correctly selected according to UNSPSC classification scheme.
Ensure correct valuation class is selected related to the Material groups.
Ensure correct Unit of Measures are selected.
Ensure that all items has a part number unless it is profile steel, cable, rope etc…
Only OEM items may contain the Brand name or Supplier name
o After request is approved the mail will automatically flow to the Eclipse Team in India
o After creation in SAP a feedback mail will flow to both the end user and the Incumbent
o Incumbent are to check each and every creation for accuracy and data standardization. (Vetting)
o Incumbent must be wary if end user are buying off contract and advise the end users accordingly, especially with chemicals, PPE and Lifting tackle as this possess huge risk to Glencore.
o Incumbent must also give Contracts team guidance on buying strategies and UOM selection while creating contracts materials and services
o Adherence to Policy/Procedure, facilitate users to fill the forms and the Technical abbreviation Dictionarying
