Master Installation Electricain

SUMMARY:
I am recruiting for a Master Installation Electrician. Will be for responsible for the installation, inspection, testing, and certification of all electrical systems, including those located in hazardous areas (Ex Zones 0, 1, 2, 20, 21 and 22). Ensures safe electrical installations in explosive atmospheres and protects plant

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Red Seal Electrician
• Master Installation Electrician (MIE) - Master Wireman License (Must)
• Harardous area classification training (advantage)

Experience:

• 5–10+ years experience in industrial/chemical & gas/explosive atmospheres
• Demonstrated experience with Ex installations and compliance auditing
• Experience issuing CoCs for hazardous areas

Technical Skills:

• Deep knowledge of IEC 60079 parts 0–31
• Experience with Ex d, Ex e, Ex i, Ex p, Ex tD, and Ex n installations
• Hazardous area fault-finding and instrumentation interface
• Ability to read and update hazardous area classification drawings
• SANS 10142-1 (Wiring Code – general)
• SANS 10142-2 / 60079 series (Hazardous locations)
• Occupational Health & Safety Act
• Manufacturer specifications for Ex equipment
