SUMMARY:
Our client Global Manufacturing of Electronics Components industry is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Centurion.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:
Must have and not negotiable:

Previous experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment
Strong problem solving and decision-making experiences
Excellent CAD skills, preferably CREO and AutoCAD
Experience of designing jigs, fixtures, and bespoke manufacturing equipment
The ability to design with engineering thermoplastics and metals.

Qualifications: Minimum:

BTech Mechanical/Mechatronics/Industrial design engineer / Preferred: BSc Mechanical/Mechatronics/Industrial design engineer.
Professional Experience: 5 - 10 years’ experience as a product design engineer
Responsibilities: Produce mechanical designs from product specifications or written instructions within a project team environment. Produce design and test specifications and associated documentation for the mechanical design.
