SA based company is looking for a Mechanical design Engineer . Company is designing Products in the Vehicles and railway Industry component, sheet metal and die casting products design. Simulation and 3D designs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Mechanical Design Engineer

Randburg

Product design for Automotive- Military Vehicles, Trackless Mining and Industrial Mining equipment, and Railway Industry Equipment. The products/ parts that are designed are manufactured locally and distributed to other parts of the world.

Detail designs are done in SA.

Qualification and experienced required:
B.Eng. or M. Eng./MSc Mechanical Engineering
ESSENTIAL : 3 years design experience on Inventor
(Client will consider similar design drawing experience utilizing 3D such as Catia, AutoCAD, Pro E ; Creo or Windchill)
2-5 years’ experience in product designs
Skills in die-casting, sheet metal component product designs
Ability to interpret specifications, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements

Responsibilities:

Modelling and design of components and systems on component assembly and sub-assemblies
Generating component and assembly drawings for proto typing
Engineering design analysis as required on designs
