Design Engineer required in Cape Town. Will be involved in design from first principles and redesign of existing products due to Engineering changes. Small component designs as well as complete System designs. Must be passionate about designs and engineering design.

Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

Cape Town

Junior Design engineer with a passion for detail design and product development. This company is specializing in developing complete designs from first principles as well as improvement on existing designs.

Qualification & Skills Required:

B Eng. / BSc / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering
MUST have at least 1 year of working experience in design of parts/ equipment

Responsibilities:

Conceptual design, detail design, component selection and costing
Create parts, assembly drawings and assembly instructions drawings using 3 D CAD skills
Create modular design to improve assembly process in production
Apply fundamental engineering principles
