SUMMARY:
We are looking for a highly capable Mechanical Design Engineer to join our automotive product development team. The ideal candidate will combine strong academic performance and/or proven industry experience with excellent engineering fundamentals, creativity, and practical design capability. You will be involved in the design, development, testing, and improvement of automotive components and systems, from concept through to production.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop automotive products, components, and assemblies
Create detailed 3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings
Participate in concept development, prototyping, and validation testing
Conduct engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and design reviews
Work closely with manufacturing, tooling, quality, and project teams
Ensure that designs comply with automotive standards and customer requirements
Support continuous improvement and cost optimisation initiatives
Prepare technical documentation and reports

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree / BEng / BSc in Mechanical Engineering
Strong academic record or demonstrated industry success
2–8 years’ experience in mechanical design engineering preferred
Experience in automotive or related manufacturing environments advantageous
Proficient in CAD software such as:
- SolidWorks
- CATIA
- Siemens NX
- Inventor
