We’re recruiting on behalf of a client looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draughtsman with proven experience using Autodesk Inventor in the mineral processing industry. This is a great opportunity to join a specialised engineering team focused on delivering robust mechanical solutions for processing plants and equipment.

POSITION INFO:
Job & Company Description:
As a Mechanical Draughtsman, you’ll be responsible for producing detailed fabrication and assembly drawings for mineral processing equipment, plant layouts, and mechanical components. You’ll work closely with engineers and project managers to translate concepts into manufacturing-ready designs using Inventor and related Autodesk tools.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman in the mineral processing or mining industry
- Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of mechanical components, steel structures, and sheet metal
- Ability to produce general arrangements, detailed manufacturing drawings, and BOMs
- Familiarity with plant layout and equipment integration

We Will Also Consider:
- Draughtsmen with mechanical design experience in related heavy industries
- Candidates with strong Inventor skills and an eagerness to develop mineral processing expertise
- Technicians with practical workshop experience and drawing office exposure
