MECHANICAL DRAUGHTSMAN
SOMERSET WEST

Our client based in Somerset West is on the search towards Mechanical Draughtsman to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Valid driver’s license
3+years of work experience with 3D Computer Aided Design (3D CAD)
Relevant qualification

Duties:

Prepare and revise mechanical, engineering, and technical drawings for wastewater treatment solutions.
Develop detailed drawings and layouts using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
Collaborate closely with design engineers to ensure accurate and practical designs.
Ensure all drawings comply with technical specifications and industry standards.
Assist with the facilitation of installations according to approved designs.
Conduct occasional site visits to support installations and project requirements.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all drawings and documentation.
Ensure projects are completed efficiently and within specified timelines.
Update and amend drawings as required throughout various project phases.
Work in a full-time office-based environment in Somerset West with occasional travel to sites.
