SUMMARY:
A dynamic organization based in the East Rand is looking to employ a Mechanical Engineer from the Mining / Engineering industry with a minimum of 5 experience in a similar role.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

Matric
BEng / BSc Mechanical Engineering
MS Office, AutoCAD and Inventor preferred (Advanced)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Industry Experience in the Mining Sector (Essential)
Valid Driver’s License & Own Vehicle
Willing to travel nationally and internationally
Developing new products and solutions from first principles
Value engineering of existing products
Design validation and FEA analysis
Compilation and approval of drawing packs in conjunction with the drawing office
Compilation of Bill of Materials via ERP system
Managing project-specific engineering deliverables according to project scope and schedule
On-Site Commissioning of equipment in conjunction with product support team
Compilation of technical reports, memos, and specifications
Updating drawings, manuals and supporting documentation according to the Engineering Change Procedure
