This role plays a key part in delivering innovative mechanical solutions aligned with international standards and cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining 2D and 3D mechanical designs using Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks.
• Performing mechanical load calculations, preparing certification documentation, and ensuring compliance with global and local standards.
• Managing Bills of Materials (BOM) through SAP B1 and SAP R3.
• Collaborating with clients, international teams, workshops, and suppliers to bring mechanical concepts to life.
• Supporting continuous improvement, HSEQ compliance, and technical documentation standardization.
• Identifying material requirements, resolving design discrepancies, and improving component compatibility across regions.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSc or BEng).
• 3–5 years’ experience in mechanical draughting and design.
• Proficiency in CAD software, especially Autodesk Inventor and SolidWorks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• South African Citizenship.
