Mechanical Engineer

SUMMARY:
Use your experience in fire engineering to join a young and dynamic team in a forward-thinking organization that prides itself on exceptional employee support and benefits. Work on projects involving rational fire design using the SANS codes.

POSITION INFO:

Design of rational fire systems

Sprinkler systems design

Site visits and inspections

Compiling of reports

Liaise with clients regarding their requirements

Submit fire plans to department

Ability to work as part of a team as well as individually

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 1 - 3 years’ experience

Proficiency in MS Office

Exceptional time management

Experience in fire planning

Experience within rational fire design

Experience in submitting plans to the department

Experience with SANS 10400T

ASIB Sprinkler standards experience

Exceptional English communication skills, verbal and written

Qualification:

BEng/BSC Mechanical Engineering

Additional fire-related courses (Beneficial)
