SUMMARY:
Mechanical Engineer (HVAC & R) required at technology-oriented trading Group, operating in refrigeration and air conditioning. Designs and support orientated role with an emphasis to do system integration between the different aspects of Industrial cooling.

POSITION INFO:

Position: Design Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineer HVAC & R (Manufacturer and Distributor)

Location: Johannesburg

International company with branches across the world

Head office position in Africa/ South Africa

Company focusses in the design, manufacture ,import and distribution of Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning related equipment, solutions and Products

Solution and design orientated Mechanical Engineer. required

Qualification:

Mechanical / Mechatronic / BTech engineer qualification
Previous work experience in HVAC and or refrigeration adesign
Knowledge of designs for EnergyManagement additional benefit

Skills Required:

Fundamental knowledge of refrigeration & HVAC process
Heat load calculations from first principles
System integration (compressors, heat exchangers, control valves and other line items)
PLC programming (ISAGRAF) will be advantageous
Ability to work under pressure
Problem Solving Ability

Tasks:

Equipment design for refrigeration & HVAC
Design and quoting of refrigeration & HVAC plants
Electronic control setup and programming
Computer modeling to improve product design and manufacturing processes
Provide technical costing and quoting to Clients
