South African based company is looking for a Mechanical design Engineer . Company is designing Vehicles and Agricultural equipment for the European market. Products and equipment is manufactured in Europe and designed in SA.

POSITION INFO:

Position: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Pretoria

South African company. Design hub for Automotive Military Vehicles and Agricultural equipment for the European market

Equipment manufactured in Europe

Qualification and Experienced Required:

B or M. Eng. / B or MSc Mechanical
ESSENTIAL :2-3 years design experience on Catia or similar design drawing experience utilizing AutoCAD, Catia and/or Pro E (Creo)
1-5 years’ experience in the reviews of product, jig and tool designs
Competent on CAD systems

Responsibilities:

Modelling and design of components and systems on component assembly and sub-assemblies
Generating component and assembly drawings for proto typing
Engineering design analysis as required on designs
Generating reports concerning designs that have been analysed
Supervising manufacturing and modification prototype components
Configuration Control
Liaise with suppliers on technical matters
Participating in test and evaluation of products
Generate engineering change proposal as required
FEA & ADAMS Analysis
Numerically Controlled Automation
Ability to interpret specifications, codes, standards and regulatory requirements
