A leader in the manufacturing industry, this company has been in the mechanical engineering industry for over 40 years and is based in the northwest of Johannesburg, Krugersdorp. The client specialises with precision manufacturing; they repair and produce high precision parts and offer their services to different sectors. The selected candidate will need to be an individual with at least 3 years’ experience as a mechanical engineer in the manufacturing industry. The candidate must have quality assurance knowledge as they will be responsible for maintaining the quality standards of the company and must adhere to compliance of ISO procedures and OHS standards.

Education:

• BEng Mechanical Engineering/ BSC Mechanical Engineering
• Trade qualification

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• (3+) years’ experience as Mechanical Engineer in metal manufacturing environment.
• Metallurgical engineering/ heat treatment requirements/ metal stress and fatigue analysis/ failure analysis and report writing.
• Can read drawings and process it to for application on physical parts.
• Understands or knowledge of metal machinery processes.
• Can determine tolerance/fits and allowance for physical components.
• Can recommend material and changes for improvements.
