SUMMARY:
Our client in KZN in the manufacturing industry is looking for a passionate and experienced Mechanical Engineering Designer with strong draughting expertise, preferably from the heavy manufacturing / engineering industry

Salary depending on experience and qualifications

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

5 Years' draughting experience with Solidworks / AutoCAD
Geometric modelling using 2D and 3D CAD design software
Suitable Mechanical Engineering qualification
Must have knowledge of commercial vehicles and trailer design
Failure analysis (FEA) knowledge would be an advantage
HTM Weight Distribution modelling expertise
Advanced MS Excel knowledge, manage spreadsheet models
Production pack compilation
Manage and maintain Bill of Material (BOM) for various builds
Project Management and product design and development
