SUMMARY:
A well-established company in based Durban, KZN is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Draughtsman to join their design team.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Suitable Engineering qualification
5 years’ experience, with Solid Works or similar CAD Package.
Knowledge of Commercial vehicles and Trailer design would be an advantage.
Failure analysis (FEA) knowledge would be an advantage.
HTM Weight Distribution modelling expertise
Advanced MS Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities:

Geometric Modelling using 2D & 3D Cad design software.
Production pack compilation.
Manage and maintain the Bill of Material for various builds.
Project management
Product design and development.
Manage spreadsheet models.
