JOB SUMMARY:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Direct and guide design engineers on technical-related issues
Perform CAD design (3D modelling, create 2D Drawings, Maintain Bill of Materials)
Administration
Work inside customer PDM system
Delegate work to assigned engineering personnel
Head design reviews with the customer and compliance
Production support
Project Management to ensure that task timelines are being met and communicate and plan for non-compliance in a timely manner

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 7-10 years of postgraduate engineering design experience (automotive design preferred)
Willing to travel overseas for variable periods.
Interpersonal skills
Passionate about automotive engineering and CAD design

Qualification:
BEng/BTech in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering. Masters will be advantageous

Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
