POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee mechanical maintenance activities across the manufacturing plant.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical faults on production equipment.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and plant modifications.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3–5 years’ experience in a mechanical maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and conveyors.
• Experience in preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.

• Experience with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems).
• Exposure to Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Professional registration or working towards ECSA registration.
• GGC registered.
