Mechanical Workshop Manager

Our client in the Eastern Cape is looking for an experienced Mechanical Workshop Manager to lead their workshop team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Workshop staff and supervise all workshop activities.
• Train workshop staff.
• Perform trouble shooting and diagnostics procedure.
• Carry out weekly inspections.
• Manage preventative maintenance program.
• Responding to mechanical breakdowns and other unforeseen issues.
• Responsible for replenishing and forecasting of essential parts and tires.
• Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
• Conduct final checks.

Requirements:

• Qualification – Qualified Diesel Mechanic.
• At least 5 years’ relevant work experience: Mechanical fault-finding, repair, and maintenance.
• Experience in managing a workshop team.
• Valid driver’s license.
