Our client is seeking a commercially driven Microsoft Sales Specialist to grow its Microsoft Cloud business by creating, qualifying, and closing opportunities across Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, Copilot, CSP licensing, and Managed Services. This consultative role focuses on understanding customer business challenges, developing tailored cloud solutions, and working closely with technical specialists to deliver measurable business outcomes. You'll be responsible for developing new business, expanding existing customer relationships, managing a healthy sales pipeline, and guiding opportunities from discovery through implementation while contributing to long-term customer success and recurring revenue growth. What You'll Do Build and manage a strong Microsoft Cloud sales pipeline. Identify, qualify, and close opportunities across Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, Copilot, CSP licensing, and Managed Services. Develop account plans aligned with business growth objectives. Acquire new customers while expanding existing client relationships. Conduct consultative discovery sessions focused on business outcomes. Position Microsoft Cloud solutions that address productivity, security, governance, AI readiness, and cloud transformation. Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases. Collaborate with pre-sales architects and technical specialists throughout the sales cycle. Work with Microsoft and strategic partners on co-sell opportunities, workshops, and customer engagements. Identify licensing optimisation and recurring managed services opportunities. Drive recurring revenue through managed services, cloud adoption, and optimisation initiatives. Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reporting. Achieve revenue, gross profit, and recurring revenue targets. What You'll Bring Grade 12 (Matric) is essential. Relevant qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, IT, or Commerce is advantageous. Minimum of 3 years' ICT solution sales experience. Experience selling Microsoft Cloud solutions, licensing, managed services, or related technologies. Strong consultative B2B sales and business development experience. Proven ability to build pipeline, develop proposals, and close profitable opportunities. Experience within a Microsoft Partner, CSP, managed services provider, systems integrator, or cloud services environment is advantageous. Good understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, Security, Copilot, and CSP licensing models. Strong commercial acumen with experience managing revenue, forecasting, and gross profit. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Microsoft certifications such as AZ-900, SC-900, or Copilot Fundamentals are advantageous.
