SUMMARY:
Our client a giant in Retail banking is looking to employ a Microsoft Systems Engineer, responsible for the Design, maintenance, setup, and support of the Microsoft servers and Microsoft Exchange environments.

POSITION INFO:

We are looking for someone with the below experience:

Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer Certification (MCSE) or equivalent Microsoft certification is essential.
Relevant IT Degree/Diploma or equivalent NQF6.
A minimum of five to eight years’ experience in a Microsoft systems support and maintenance role is essential.
IT Network knowledge essential.
Two to three years’ experience in Microsoft Office 365 and Azure implementation and support.
Five to eight years’ experience on Microsoft Exchange servers.
Five to eight years’ experience on Microsoft Active Directory servers.
Five to eight years’ experience in Microsoft Hyper V environments.
Five to eight years’ experience in implementation, support, maintenance of Microsoft systems for core financial systems.
VMWare certification and experience are advantageous.
VEEAM backup software certification and experience are advantageous.
Redhat Linux Operating system certification and experience are advantageous.
Practical experience in monitoring and tuning Microsoft systems to provide a high availability service.
Practical experience within a 3-tier environment.
Practical experience within a 24/7 support environment.
Working experience within the financial sector will be an advantage.
Ability to communicate across all levels.
Analytical skills.
Good track record of dependability, accuracy, loyalty, and responsibility.
Ability to work independently and deadline-driven.
Must be available to be on standby and to work extensive overtime.
