Mid level Finance Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity to report to the CFO of this established digital advertising and brand management agency! They are a highly motivated team with an array of clients across all industries including travel, finance and retail. Applicants should have completed a relevant tertiary financial degree or diploma and must have at least 4-5 years min practical Accounting and Bookkeeping experience.

The successful candidate will have a "can-do attitude" and be willing to work closely with the team on all levels of the
account. This is a fast paced but happy working environment with good people, great attitudes and smart digital minds.

Responsibilities:
● Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company
● Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
● Manage Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
● Manage the online filing system and Asset Registry
● Analysis and control of expenses and variance to budgets
● Assistance with the preparation of Monthly Reporting
● Assistance with external reviews to ensure accurate year-end financials
● Reporting on account performance
● Manage relationships with various clients
Skills:
● Excellent attention to detail
● Excellent communication skills
● Excellent Accounts Receivable management capabilities
● Outstanding reporting and presentation skills
● Statutory skills will be advantageous
● Excellent Time Management skills

Requirements
● Thorough understanding of accountancy
● Full Bookkeeping Experience (Minimum 4-5 years)
● Monthly Reporting experience of (Minimum 2 years)
● Degree/Diploma
● Working Knowledge of an Accounting Package

● Xero experience will be advantageous

● Strong Excel skills essential
