JOB SUMMARY:
A mining company in Johannesburg is looking for an experienced Mining Engineer. Someone confident and who has strong technical skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Mining Engineer’s responsibilities:

Assessing the feasibility and the potential for commercial benefit of new sites.
Ascertaining extraction risks.
Producing models or plans for possible mining sites.
Planning and implementing extraction systems.
using specialist computer applications to maximize planning and production.
Monitoring and evaluating underground performances.
Managing construction projects.
Ensuring that operations comply with health and safety requirements.
Making sure that the equipment used is safe.
Experience in managing budgets.
Experience in training and supervising staff.
Experience in liaising with and advising managerial and technical staff.
Experience and knowledge in analyzing data.
Ability to keeping records.
Knowledge and experience in costing and organizing supplies.

Requirements:

Relevant qualifications in the field.
Must be confident.
Have problem-solving and analytical skills.
Have organization and efficiency skills
Be able to work independently and work in a team.
Have strong technical skills.
Have managerial and interpersonal skills.
Have IT skills.
