SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to design, integrate, and support smart underground mining systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in deploying advanced technologies such as IoT, automation, real-time monitoring, and communication systems in underground environments.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement integrated smart mining systems (automation, telemetry, and IoT)
Develop and maintain system architecture for underground operations
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, and software)
Oversee the installation, commissioning, and optimization of systems underground
Analyze system performance and recommend improvements
Ensure compliance with mining safety standards and regulations
Provide technical support and troubleshooting in operational environments
Document system designs, processes, and maintenance procedures

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or similar)
3–7 years’ experience in systems engineering, preferably in mining or industrial environments
Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, CAN, and ethernet/IP)
Knowledge of IoT platforms, automation systems, and SCADA
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Willingness to work in underground mining environments
